Dylan Mantello vs Ahmad Hassanzada Odds & Pick

Dana White Contender Series veterans Dylan Mantello and Ahmad Hassanzada will be aiming to bounce back from losses on last year’s show when they step into the cage on Tuesday night. Mantello lost to Kaynan Kruschewsky last season, while Hassanzada was knocked out by Nazim Sadykhov.

Back the underdog Mantello’s striking prowess to come to the fore in this bout. The former Ring of Combat lightweight champion always stays active, and his deceptive power often surprises opponents. The Longo and Weidman MMA product also carries a strong submission game in his arsenal, making him a threat from anywhere inside the cage.  We’re betting his aggressive, accurate hands lead to his hand being raised at the end of this bout.

Hassanzada has a tendency to take a ton of damage in his fights, and has been dropped to the canvas in nearly all of his fights. He’s a classic grappler with poor striking skills who is too easily fooled by opponents’ feights and combinations.

Take the underdog Mantello at +140 and be sure to visit our best UFC betting sites to find the best price on each Dana White’s Contender Series scrap.

  • Pick: Dylan Mantello to win (+140)

Aaron Tau vs Elijah Smith Odds & Pick

XFC bantamweight Aaron Tau takes on Colorado’s Elijah Smith hoping to gain Dana White’s favor at the UFC Apex.

An undefeated striker from Auckland, New Zealand, Tau has dominated in the XFC. Over the past five years, he’s won seven straight fights in the promotion, while finishing six of those contests. He loves to push the pace and aggressively corner his opponents’ while unloading his power-packed fists.

In the other corner, Smith will use his significant height and reach advantage to attack his opponents. He most recently defeated Josh Walker at Fury 92 in June, and has just one loss in his burgeoning MMA career.

A product of Team Victory, Smith is stepping in to take this fight on short notice. However, he’s the far more naturally athletic fighter, with fast hands. Smith will get the better of most exchanges when these two are standing, so expect to Tau try to shoot early in this one.

Tau is an intriguing, undefeated prospect. At the same time, Smith holds the edge in nearly every category heading into Dana White’s Contender Series Week 6. He’s a much better kickboxer, he’s faster, and possesses far cleaner footwork and striking defense. Back Smith to get the job done on Tuesday night.

  • Pick: Elijah Smith to win (-188)
