• [2/17/21] Tsitsipas pulled off a five-set thrilling defeat of Rafaal Nadal and has seen his odds shorten to +400 ahead of the semifinals
• [2/15/21] The big surprise is Aslan Karatsev who now in the quarterfinals, has seen his odds shorten from +75000 to +5800
• [2/13/21] Into the round of 16, odds for Milos Raonic have shortened from +6600 to +2650 since February 10
• [2/10/21] One month ago, Andrey Rublev had odds of +2500, now, ahead of his second-round match his odds are +1600

Kenin vaulted into the WTA Top 5 after her Aussie Open win, now her highest ranking (4th) in her career. She defeated Muguruza 4-6 6-2 6-2 in last year’s final.

Odds for Past Women’s Singles Winners

Osaka cooled off after her 2019 win but still has the fourth-best odds to win in 2021. Her odds in April are 9-1.

Past Women’s Champions

Serena Williams has a ways to go before catching up with Margaret Smith Court. The Aussie tennis legend won 11 Australian Open Women’s Singles Championships from 1960 to 1973. Williams currently has seven titles.

AO Women’s Champions by Country

Australians have won 43 Australian Open Women’s Singles Championships, but they haven’t claimed top honors lately. The last homegrown Aussie Open title-holder was Chris O’Neil, who won it all in 1978. Kenin became the youngest American since Serena Williams in 2002 to win a grand slam.
