• [1/27/22] Ashleigh Barty is a massive -500 favorite over Danielle Collins in the final
• [1/26/22] Barty is still favored now in the final four, while the longest odds come on American Keys at +750
• [1/24/20] Danielle Collins bettors pre-tournament would be a good spot right now. She had +4000 odds pre-tournament and now sits at +950, the fourth leading favorite. Ash Barty still leads the way at -150
• [1/20/22] Iga Swiatek is now down to +650 odds in the third round, shortened from +1000 when the draw was made

AO Women’s Champions by Country

Australians have won 43 Australian Open Women’s Singles Championships, but they haven’t claimed top honors lately. The last homegrown Aussie Open title-holder was Chris O’Neil, who won it all in 1978. Naomi Osaka is the only Japanese player on either the men’s or women’s tours to win the Aussie Open.
