2023 French Open Men’s Singles Top Contenders
- [Jun 9] With the men’s final now set, Novak Djokovic (-425) is the favorite to capture his fifth French Open title. His opponent in Sunday’s final is fourth-seeded Casper Ruud (+330), the 2022 French Open runner-up who will be competing in his third career Grand Slam final.
- [Jun 7] The two remaining favorites, Carlos Alcaraz (-150) and Novak Djokovic (+210), are set to square off in one semi-final, leaving the winner to face either of Alexander Zverev (+800) and Casper Ruud (+900).
- [Jun 5] Carlos Alcaraz (+120) and Novak Djokovic (+175) continue to be the favorites to win at Roland Garros heading into the quarter-finals. On the bottom half of the draw, it’s Alexander Zverev (+850) and Holger Rune (+900) who are getting the shortest odds to win.
- [May 31] One of the French Open contenders, Daniil Medvedev, suffered a shock opening round defeat at the hands of Thiago Seyboth Wild in five sets.
- [May 20] It’s Carlos Alcaraz who’sa favored at +130 after the French Open Draw.
- [Jan 17] Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal have identical +175 odds in January to win the French Open.

France has the most French Open Men’s Singles Championships with 38. But France hasn’t claimed top honors lately. The last homegrown French Open title-holder was Yannick Noah, who won it all in 1983.
2023 French Open Women’s Singles Odds
- [Jun 8] We have our finalists! Ranked 43rd in the world going into the tournament, Karolina Muchova rallied against #2 seed Aryna Sabalenka in her semi-final and is now getting +600 to take the French Open title. Her opponent in the final is the #1 ranked reigning champion, Iga Swiatek, who at -1000 is an overwhelming favorite to capture her third win at Roland-Garros.
- [Jun 7] Beatriz Haddad Maia’s upset of Ons Jabeur has seen the Brazilian’s odds shorten from +5000 to +2000 ahead of her semi-final match against World #1 Iga Swiatek.
- [Jun 5] Heading into the quarter-finals, Iga Swiatek remains the favorite to capture her third French Open title, with odds averaging at -191. Her next opponent, Coco Gauff, is currently getting the fourth-best odds of all quarter-finalists at +1614.
- [May 31] Elena Rybakina has seen her average French Open odds shorten from +807 to +636 ahead of her second round match. She’s currently the third-rated favorite.
- [May 20] There’s a big drop off in the odds from Iga Swiatek -145 to Aryna Sabalenka +600 entering the French Open.

Odds for Recent Women’s Singles Winners
For eight years running, a different winner had won the French Open. That changed last year when Iga Swiatek won for the second time in three years. Swiatek from Poland beat Cori Gauff of USA 6-1 6-3 for a straight sets win in 2022.
